Courses

Since 1993, Tom has been teaching a variety of graduate seminars at the Center for the Study of American Government at Johns Hopkins University, where he received the Award for Excellence in Teaching. His courses have included:

  • Administering Homeland Security
  • The Law of Public Institutions
  • Government and the American Economy
  • Government and the Credit Markets.

In the 2009-2010 school year, he will teach two courses:

  • In Fall 2009, the course is the core course for the MA/MBA program in Government, “Essentials of Public and Private Management.”
  • In Spring 2010, the course will be “Government, the Financial Markets, and National Economic Security,” addressing the financial debacle and its implications, among other issues.
